I just had a lady at work that was diagnosed with stage 2 or 3 rectal cancer. Started very aggressive treatment today – chemo and radiation. She was told she would lose her hair in two weeks. She came into work after her treatment! Is she crazy. I saw my Paul work through all his “stuff”. Going with IV’s thinking that his job would appreciate him so much and he would just beat the heart infection.

How dumb. Why can’t people take care of themselves. Does she think that she is a hero or invincible?? Her husband is a doctor – she has more money that she could ever spend so she is not working because she needs the money. I just don’t get it. Do they think life just goes on. Didn’t her doctor tell her that with chemo and radiation she is more suseptible to contracting colds and disease.

Sorry – had to vent. Don’t like it when people take their preciouse lives so cavelierly (sp?).
