Thanks for doing this blog, Corrine. I just stumbled across it by accident recently, and have already interacted with a couple of other people. I guess it is time for me to interact with you, too! My best friend and husband of 43 years, Don, died from pancreatic cancer almost 14 months ago. He is a fantastic person, and all I’ve ever wanted was to be his wife for the rest of my life. I never dreamt that I’d be doing it without his being here with me! I didn’t think I could survive without him, but am learning how through constant prayer, studying the Bible, and with the help of family and friends.
Together Don and I had our faith that strengthened our marriage while he was here, and now it strengthens my relationship with our Lord. I know that Don and I will be reunited in the Lord for eternity some day in the future. My job now is to learn to live each day as our Lord wants me to live it while I am still in this world.
