I have received emails from people who thought they had subscribed to this blog.
And yet they never got notifications when I wrote new articles.
It’s a little tricky so I thought I would go over the procedure with you. You might want to print this out.
On the right hand side of the blog, there is a little box for your email. (No, we will not share this information! Promise)
That will bring you to a screen that asks you to repeat some letters. This is to confirm that you are a real person and not a scammer.
Subscribe
Now this next important step could be the one you have left out.
Go to your email.
There will be a message confirming that you want to subscribe. This is an added security to prevent spammers.
In the body of the email there will be an address that starts with http:// etc. and some numbers.
Put your cursor before the http .
Left click your mouse and hold it as you drag your curser to the end of that link. It will be highlighted. You can let go now.
While it is still highlighted, press Ctrl and C at the same time.
Now go to your search window at the top of your page. If there is something in the box, delete it.
Put your cursor at the beginning and press CTRL and V.
You will see the http:// information there from the body of the email..
Press Go and you are done.
I write articles a couple of times a week and now you will know when there is something NEW! I don’t want you to miss anything.
Looking forward to your joining the community at Personal Growth with Corinne Edwards!

My home page is set to Google.
I have the feeds from my favorite blogs
listed on my home page.
A blogging friend Tim made a post last
year about RSS and subscribing to blogs.

Here is an article from wikipedia on feeds.

Thanks Deb, for the valuable information and the links. I appreciate your weighing in here.
Obviously, this little mini tutorial was not directed toward a techie like you!
If my sister ever read those articles about RSS, she would never read my blog again. Just throw up her hands. A feed?????
I am trying here to reach some of the people who complain to me that they are not getting my blog after they subscribe to a email subscription. They are not completing the last step because they do not know how to cut and paste.
Hope it works! Do you think I was clear enough?
Thanks for being around, Deb!
