And if you ever get to Danville, California…there’s a shop there called “Something Old…Something New” and it is fantastic. Beautiful, unusual clothing that wealthy women have bought and discarded sometimes without even taking the tags off. I bought 5 different cute linen blouses for $52.00.

I am also a great believer in writing down your experiences – a memoir – your great grandchildren will thank you for it.

Some of my friends are starting to video or record conversations with their elders. They have so much to share with us and they love to talk about the old times.
