And it's true for artists and singers and songwriters and performers too. It's very easy to think that if we just do our art, then that should be enough. After 15 years of making my living as a songwriter, I've found that you don't have to be some cheese-y sales person (the big fear of artists!) - but you do have to get good at the business side of things. AND that you can learn a lot of great stuff on that side! This is so true. And it’s true for artists and singers and songwriters and performers too. It’s very easy to think that if we just do our art, then that should be enough.
