MANIFESTING YOUR DREAMS - Michelle Vandepas
You have often heard me talk about some of the good friends I have met in the blogging world.
Michelle is one of them. She helps me in manifesting my dreams by leading me through the wilderness of the technical world! She inspires me and bails me out from my misadventures -
We are in touch often but only met once in the flesh when she came in for the SOB08 conference recently. She and Stephen Hopson, another soul friend blogger friend and I had dinner together in Chicago’s Greektown. It was as though we had known each forever.
Much hugging and laughing.
Thought you’d enjoy meeting her in person too since I talk about her a lot. I like my friends to know each other.
Michelle is a entrepreneur, a super techie, lecturer, writer, seminar leader and has two radio shows. She also has a popular personal growth blog about following your passion in life.
And now an ALERT for all you autumn leaf seekers -
As a great incentive for your fall vacation - Michelle is a featured presenter at The Be conference in Colorado Springs which will be held September 26 to the 28th.
That is when nature is parading her magnificent colors in the mountains. Could be a great holiday combination before the snow flies.
Michelle believes individuals who develop spiritually, consciously and intuitively can unleash their Divine Purpose and manifest their dreams. Through masterminding in small groups, Michelle facilitates the power of intention, combined with proven business practices to manifest prosperity for entrepreneurs.
Now that you’ve met her in person via her video, you will feel you have a friend there as soon as you arrive.
A friend who has a map to guide you in living your purpose and manifesting your dreams

Dear Brenda -
We need to be reminded often about how grateful we are for the things we already have.
- Instead of wishing for more.
Your course sounds great and it is FREE!
I am sure many people will benefit from it. Good luck!
It is no accident that this message came at the time it did.
First of all, my Blackberry vibrated at exactly 2:22 pm which I’ve gotten accustomed to. It’s like a message from the spirit world. I know the angels are trying to communicate w/ me. They were using you to convey the message!
And the second thing is I am reading a book I simply cannot put dow because while it was published over 20 years ago, it is a spiritually oriented book that covers a lot of not what I believe in and practice but touches on what Michelle teaches and what you believe to be simple truths of life. I cannot put it down.
The title is “Peace Pilgrim.”. A most wonderfully upliftin book that puts me in a warm, fuzzy and spiritual state of mine. It’s almost as if the lady (now deceased) was using you to communicate w/ me!!
Thanks for mentioning me. And yes, when we met, it was like a reunion of our spirits!
Stephen Hopsons last blog post..End of the Week Gratitude Theme #39
Dear Stephen -
I remember “Peace Pilgrim” very well. She was an unusual and slightly outragous character in her day.
I just went to Amazon and pulled up one of the pages of her book. The message is even more current today than when she wrote it and started her historic trip.
And that is that peace in the world must begin with the individual person. We tend to forget that.
Of course I would mention you in my article. You and Michelle were my very first friends in the blogosphere. And we all have remained so.
You were the VERY first comment I ever got on my blog which was not from a relative. I can remember thinking - OMG - someone actually read this!
Can’t wait to be with you again!
In the video she talks about committing 100%, but what about being passionate about several different things. You can’t commit 100% to each of them. Does the course or workshop talk about time management at all?
HI Corinne, Thanks so much for featuring my video in this post! What a surprise.. And it was so wonderful for us to meet and Stephen too. A meeting of spirits that felt so comfortable…
As to Dave’s question above:
Dave, When we are talking about activities, like Golf or Painting, I don’t think you can commit to several things and be successful all at once. Sure you can have lots of interests, but I’ve found over the years that when I concentrate on one piece at a time I’ve got a better chance of getting where I want to go.
Not the most popular answer.
We can have lots of hobbies however, and lots of interests, but if you are Living Your Purpose, I’m not talking about a specific activity, but more about the energy of Living Your Purpose, regardless of your job.
If you have just one focus, you’ll get farther faster.
By all means, have lots of hobbies, interests, passions, but only one focus in your Purpose.
So, if you want to play Golf, go for it! Include it in your list of passions. But if you want to be a professional Golfer, figure out which piece of that is expressing your individual Purpose, focus on that piece, and then go for it, at the expense of other interests.
Make sense?
