LOTTERY TICKET – FIRST TIME BUYER

I want to buy a lottery ticket.

OK

How much is it?

One dollar. Which lottery do you want?

Is there more than one?

Yes. There are three today.

Lady’s voice from behind -.

“Excuse me. Can I have $20. on pump four?”

(He rings her up)

Which one is the best?

It’s up to you, lady. Powerball is paying 57 million tonight.

Man from behind me –

“Your air pump machine isn’t working.”

I know. It will be fixed later today.

I want a ticket for the Powerball. I’ll give you the numbers I want. How many can I have?

The machine picks the numbers randomly.

I can’t choose?

No.

OK. I’ll take one ticket.

Fast forward one day -

I bought a lottery ticket yesterday.

I remember you.

I looked on the Internet. I can’t figure out if I won.

Put your ticket into that machine on the counter. It will tell you.

I don’t have it with me. Is it still good for another drawing?

No. You need a new ticket for each one.

Oh. When is the next one?

Lotto is tonight. 32 million.

I guess that would be OK. I’ll take one.

Come back tomorrow with both tickets. The machine will tell you if you won anything.

Corinne we have a pile of different games. Lotto, Lottery, Powerball and so many others that I always just say. Tonight’s game quickpick I sound like a dork but I get a ticket. I’ve never won more than $3.00 and over the years I’ve probably invested about 100.00 a few tickets a year for 20 years…?

Now they tell me I can pick my own numbers but there is some paperwork. And not all lotteries.

You make me laugh with this one Corinne. Don’t buy tickets to often, but I do watch the newspaper to see if I won.

It can be very confusing and I am confused enough with out adding more confuse, so when I do get one it is usually the quick pick. Makes it easier. Some people have luck with the numbers in the fortune cookies, I have heard.
Then you do have the paper work to deal with. Just a thought.

I am sticking with quick pick for now.

I am laughing out loud reading this. You are SO funny, and the dialog is hilarious, and something I’m sure we’ve all heard, whether we are buying a lottery ticket or not.

This also made me laugh as I realized that I walk around saying: “I never win the lottery.” OR “When I win the lottery.”

BUT…

I bet you can guess what I am going to say.

I have NEVER (yup, never) bought a lottery ticket. LOL!

Sooooo, this made me realize that I am going to go buy a ticket. I will do a whole ceremony around it and celebrate the buying of my first ticket. LOL!! Okay, I may skip the ceremony, but I WILL buy the ticket. How novel!!

Lottery ticket is the chance to get the lots of money. It depend upon only the luck. I used many times lottery ticket but not win one time.
