Who said there are no men out there? 

I met some nice people on the Internet  -  but they also included the following:

A con man who wanted to sell me mortgages

An eighty year old who said he was fifty

An oncologist who said his wife would love me

A short paper salesman who wanted to wear my clothes

A psychologist whose wife had died three days ago

A lawyer who sent me a bill for my dinner

An author who wanted all my replies for his book

A politician who asked for a donation for his campaign

A lifer who claimed he was innocent

A man who said he knew me and why hadn’t I picked up at the bus stop

A retiree who asked me to marry him immediately

A retiree who didn’t want to marry me but wanted to tell me over and over that he had graduated from Harvard

Three illegal aliens needing a green card

An engineer who negotiated sex over the first cocktail

A man with twelve children whose wife didn’t understand him

Lots of lonely people I feel guilty about not answering.
