DO YOU HAVE A DIVINE PURPOSE?

by Corinne

What the heck is a Divine Purpose?

Although I did over 400 shows for Wisdom Television, it has been a while. So, when I approached Michelle Vandepas for an interview, I wondered if I still knew how to do it.

I have to admit I am a little rusty but it was a lot of fun.

Her blog is called Divine Purpose Unleashed. Fortunately, she has her subject down pat and nothing that I threw at her fazed her for one second.

Questions like -

“What do you mean by Divine?”

“Are you connected to a religion?”

And, the biggie -

“Can an atheist have a divine purpose?”

I convinced Michelle to let me hijack her site. She’s a good sport.

I thought you might be interested -

Michelle is a popular blogger, author, seminar leader, counselor and the host of two different radio shows – Whew!

In addition, she is a super techie, wife, mother – and always has a new project going!

So here is the interview. Enjoy!

Corinne, I listened and enjoyed your interview. I like the idea that Michelle expressed about our Divine Purpose can even be something really small and seemingly unimportant like the exchange between the bus driver and the child on his route. Wonderful story. I do believe that sometimes we don’t know the effect that our actions can have on other people.

I enjoyed the interview. The smallest gestures can have the biggest impact on us and others. It’s important to be grateful for the acts of others, and to remember that everything we do can impact someone elses life.

Dear Patricia – and Overcoming Life Obstacles – (Cindy)

Glad you liked the interview. Michelle is terrific – a great listener and gives truly thoughtful answers.

FYI – she did not have one question in advance. It was all spontaneous.

The big point is that we do not have to be doing something world shaking to be truly living our purpose.

Cindy – Thanks for coming by. I enjoyed visiting your site. I knew Earl Nightingale personally. He was the real deal. He belonged to the Lincolnwood Chamber of Commerce when I was the Chairperson there.

Great interview – I learned so much. I recommend it to all.
Corinne – so reminded me of the Olden Days when you did all your Wisdom interviews. Maybe someday you can get some of them on your site.

Dear Violet Lily Rose -

What a wonderful name. Is it real?

I guess it does not matter.

As far as Wisdom. – they are gone- gone – gone. I have no rights to the programming.

I hear the heirs have sold it all. Love to know where if anone knows.

Thanks for the insight into living a ‘divine purpose’. I’ve known Michelle for almost 30 years…we have weaved in and out of each others lives…learning from each other, going through trying times and always finding light and always mindful that being in the present keeps us on a ‘divine and purposeful’ trail.

Thank you.
