Now, you’ve gotta feel mighty good about that! It’s always great to have your kids get several Andy Warhol moments in life.
Enjoyed listening to your kids. Gave me a lot of good tips.
Reminded me of my sister-inlaw. She has been in the antique business in Toronto, about 25 years. She goes to thrift stores, garage sales and estate sales. Jerry and I love going with her. Being in that business, she knows the value of all the items. We have gotten some beautiful pictures frames, vases, clothes.
Love,
Patsy
Thanks for the post and publicity. It’s a labour of love for me and I am most grateful to you as always for helping this young writer out!
I really enjoyed reading your insights and thoughts about your finds at thrift stores. Putting a story to everything certainly enriches your finds. Not only do you end up with useful items for a great price, but you double your gain with your wonderful insights. I’ll never look at anything as mundane again. A really fun book!

Before shows like American Picker and antiques roadshow not many people would have been able to write a book about junktiquing. The fact is that you can make decent money restoring or fixing things other people cannot be bothered with.
I guess the old saying is right. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure
