Corinne,
I just happened upon this series and all I can say is, “wow”…. I am interested in what else you are doing?
ck
This is a great series. I hope people who can really make a difference get to watch these.
Corinne, please thank Michael again for his time and his eloquence. And thank you for making and publishing the videos! I definitely learned quite a bit.
Hi Corrine,
Thanks for sharing the videos, you’re amaxing!
I believe that these videos can help a lot of people.
Dear CK -
What I am doing right now is hanging out in my life and trying to re-invent myself another time. (With a lot of help from your partner, Michelle!) Gets to be exhausting but without a new purpose, I would be very bored. That purpose is this blog right now and my Life Coach practice and I love both.
I cannot undertand how anyone could retire. I will be writing a post as they carry me out!
Dear Michelle -
I am glad that you liked the interview with Michael. Without you, it would not be on this blog. So, my thanks, once again!
I hope it gets to the right people. He has some important things to suggest to help the terrible gang problem in the country.
To my readers:
Michelle has a great blog with CK called http://www.divinepurposeunleahed.com. She walks the walk she talks. I suggest everyone take a look. You will like it.
Dear Amy and Raymond -
I certainly will pass your comments on to Michael. He probably does not have Internet access in a maximum security prison – but I did print out the “About” article for him and mailed it.
Please pass the video on to anyone you think can use it. They can even put it on their blog or webpage or newsletter. They just have to let me know.
There may be someone you know in schools or even law enforcement.
I always read your blog in high spirits. Thanks
Your post makes one think! Great article. Thanks for allowing me to comment!

Corinne,
Even three years later, what Michael had to say is so true. And in that period of time, economic pressure on the working, poor, and middle classes has grown exponentially. Conservatives are dooming even more kids to gang life, teen pregnancy, institutionalized racism and poverty, and ignoring what powerlessness does to people. They’ve made it public policy to kick those who are down.
Michael, and you through your show, speak truth to power, restoring at least a glimmer of hope for the future.
Now that conservatives are attacking many of their own base, they are feeling the backlash of trying to take power from the people.
Amazing video series!

Corinne, first off – congratulations for having obtained and produced the interview with Michael. I just watched it now – years after it was recorded, but only a short time after our phone conversation during which you informed me that Michael had died six months ago, at a young age, in prison. It makes a sad story even sadder. If I knew of one thing to stop kids (and grown-ups) from making foolish decisions I’d do it all day and all night. The alternative, in Michael’s case, to lock ‘em up and have them die there just isn’t right. But it seems that when the student isn’t ready it don’t matter a dickie-bird how many teachers appear. So the best we can do is to just keep on sowing the seeds of Miracles – and of Action – to students that are ready … or some day hopefully will be – before they choose the career path of criminal.
